On February 25, 2020, the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) announced a new option for checking case information online [PDF version].
Users may access the EOIR's new automated case information application on the EOIR's website. Case information is currently available only in English and Spanish.
In order to use the automated case information application, a user must input his or her A-Number at https://portal.eoir.justice.gov/InfoSystem/Form?LanguageEN (English) or https://portal.eoir.justice.gov/InfoSystem/Form?LanguageES (Spanish). The application can provide information about next scheduled hearings, decision information at the immigration court or Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), court and BIA contact information, and the immigration court's current operating status.
While the EOIR has added automated case information to its website, the EOIR's automated case information telephone hotline remains available. The phone number for the EOIR automated case information hotline is 800-898-7189 (TDD 800-828-1120).
